Related: How to set up a Package
When setting up a recurring package, you can control whether clients can cancel their subscription themselves.
How self-cancellation works
Recurring plans that never expire: Clients can always cancel their subscription themselves. Self-cancellation is automatically enabled and cannot be turned off.
Recurring plans with a set number of invoices: Self-cancellation is enabled by default, but coaches can turn it off.
One-time payments: Self-cancellation does not apply because there is no recurring subscription to cancel.
Free trials: Clients can always cancel during their free trial, regardless of the self-cancellation setting. Once the trial converts to a paid subscription, the pricing option's setting applies.
How to enable or disable self-cancellation
Package Pricing
Step 1: Go to Packages and open the package you want.
Step 2: Open the Pricing pop-up for the pricing option you want to update.
Step 3: Select Recurring Subscription as the pricing model.
Step 4: Find Allow client to cancel recurring subscription and adjust the toggle as needed.
For recurring plans with a set number of invoices, you can turn the setting ON or OFF.
For recurring plans that never expire, the setting is automatically ON and shows a lock icon. This cannot be turned off because clients must always have the ability to cancel a subscription that does not have a set end date.
When this option is enabled, clients can log in through the web at client.everfit.io/login to view their purchases and cancel their recurring subscription.
Note: Client self-cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The client retains access to the package until the current billing period ends.
Self-cancellation in Package Settings
Go to the package's Settings tab, you will be able to enable the self-cancellation option.
