Understanding the Purchase Process

What happens when my client makes a purchase?

Here is a general overview

Access the Checkout Page

From the package page, clients can review the package details and pricing. When they are ready to purchase, they can access the checkout page by clicking Purchase or Start Trial under the pricing.

On the checkout page, the client will be asked for their contact information, card details, and will see information about how they will be charged. If your package has a free trial, the client will be required to provide a valid credit or debit card to start the trial.

Packages can be purchased by both existing and new clients. After completing the purchase, they’ll be prompted to log in or create a new account to activate and link the package to their profile.


Recurring Subscription Purchases

When purchasing a recurring package, clients will see a disclaimer stating that it will automatically. Clients will also see how much they will pay initially, how much they will pay at each renewal, and when the renewals will be charged.

Subsequent subscription payments will follow the set billing cycle, regardless of when activation occurs. For instance, if the subscription renews every 2 weeks and the first payment is made on Jan 1, the next will be on Jan 15.

Clients with a subscription will be charged indefinitely, or for the specified number of payment periods, and their purchase will remain active until it’s marked as “Cancelled.” A subscription can be cancelled manually by the coach at any time to stop future charges, or you can set the package to allow client self-cancellation. If self-cancellation is allowed, clients can cancel their subscription in their web account accessed at client.everfit.io.

One-time Payment Purchases

One-time packages will charge the client once. If the package has a free trial, the client will start the trial and be charged their one payment when the trial completes.

One-time purchases remain active until manually marked as Cancelled, which is for tracking only and won’t affect the client’s access.


After the Purchase

When a client successfully purchases a package, they’ll receive a confirmation email that is their payment receipt, or confirmation of trial start, and an additional email with package activation instructions. The coach and workspace will also be notified of the sale by a new payment received email.

Once the client activates the purchase, the customer will receive a package activated confirmation email and the coach selling the package will be notified confirming the purchase has been linked.

If the client is new to the workspace, they’ll either be activated automatically or added to the "Waiting Activation" list if client slots are full. If they are on the "Waiting Activation" client list segment, you will need to check and activate the clients manually.

Payouts are sent directly to your designated bank account, typically within a week for the first payment and 2-3 days thereafter. Ensure your Identity Verification is complete to receive payouts.


Failed recurring payments

If a recurring payment fails, the workspace will be notified, and the coach can retry charging the client’s credit card. To prevent system spam, charges can only be retried once per day.
