What is Recipe?

This feature allows coaches to create customized recipes, including ingredient lists, cooking instructions, and nutritional information, to help their clients achieve their health and wellness goals.

The Recipes feature is included in the Pro or Studio plans.

How to create a recipe?

Step 1: Add a new recipe from your library

Navigate to the Library tab on the left-side menu, select Recipes, and click on the Create New Recipe button.

It will use a random cover image by default. You can upload your own recipe image to replace it on the Create Recipe pop-up or change it later on the Recipe detail screen.

Step 3: Add all recipe details

3.1. Add Description

Adding a description is not necessary, but it could help your clients understand the overall information about a recipe, beyond the basic ingredients and instructions as well the key aspects of the recipe.

3.2. Add Category

You can select multiple options to categorize your recipe, including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack, Soup, Salad/Bowl or Others.

3.3. Add Prep Time & Cooking Time

3.7. Add Instructions

Adding a YouTube/Vimeo instructions video is optional, but it could help to provide your clients with a visual demonstration of the cooking process.

If your recipe doesn't require the Preparation instructions, you can leave it empty. But the Cooking instructions are necessary to publish the recipe. You can add the image for each of the steps to make it easier for your clients to follow along and successfully replicate the recipe.

3.8. Add Nutrition Infomation

You will need to add the basic macronutrients (Protein/Carbs/Fat) to your recipe. The other macronutrients (Saturated Fat, Sugar, Fiber...) are optional. Please notice that macronutrients are for only 1 serving.

Step 4: Save and Publish your recipe

After adding all the necessary information and data, you can save your recipe as a Draft. You will need to publish the recipe to assign it to your clients or add it to the Meal Plan.
