To start using Zapier integration, you will need to have a Zapier account and then set up your Zap that includes Everfit's events. We will guide you through this fast and easy process below!
Create your Zaps with Everfit
1. Create a new Zap
1.1. On your Zapier Dashboard, click the Create Zap button from the left OR the Create button from the right then select New Zap.
β
2. Add a Trigger event that starts your Zap
2.1. Select an App and its event based on the desired trigger. The triggered event can be from Everfit or the other platforms.
For example, the Everfit app and the Client Connected event.
Note: Only one trigger event can be added to a single Zap.
2.2. Click Sign in to connect to your Everfit account if you haven't connected before.
2.3. Input the Zapier Secret Key to connect to your Everfit account. You need to go to Everfit's Zapier Integration page to find your API Key.
2.4. After connecting successfully, it will link your Everfit account (with the workspace name) to the Zap.
2.5. Test your Trigger then continue with the selected record
For the Client Connected event, if there is no record yet, you will need to have at least 1 client connected to your workspace to select the record.
β3. Add an Everfit Action event
Note: Several actions can be added to a single Zap, based on your needs.
3.1. Select the Everfit app and its event based on the desired action.
For example, Add Participants to Forum event.
3.2. If you have already connected to your Everfit account on Zapier, it will automatically select it by default.
3.3. Select the Action options (The related action options will show up according to the selected event).
You can insert the output from all available fields of the Triggered Event to each field of the Action Event for an automatic process.
Or you can manually input the data to the fields if it can't be inserted from the Triggered Event.
3.3.1. For Add Participants to Forum event, the Paricipant's ID can be inserted from the ID field of the Client Connected event's output.
β
3.3.2. For Add Participants to Forum event, the Forum's ID field can't be inserted from any field of the Client Connected event's output.
So you will need to manually copy it from the URL of the specific forum you want to add the participants to, then paste it to your Zap.
3.4. Test your Action to verify whether your setup & the returned data are your expected.
If the data can be returned, that means the action works correctly.
If the data can't be returned, that means there is a wrong setup with the Action
For example, the Forum ID doesn't exist in your workspace.
β
3.5. Publish your Zap after you finish all setup and test. Any further completed action in your Zap will reflect on the Everfit app with corresponding data.
For the example above, if there is any new connected clients of your workspace, they will be automatically assigned to the selected Forum
