Forums is the new, simple way to stay in contact with groups of people without having to leave the Everfit app. There’s no more need for managing members in multiple Facebook groups. Check out our integrated solution below!

Forum Examples:

  • Create a private community for all of your clients or just specific groups with similar end goals.

  • Run challenges and offer rewards with the new Leaderboard feature to keep all of your clients excited and engaged.

Note: Access to Forums is currently only available on our iOS/Android Client and Coach app. The web version is coming soon!


CREATING A FORUM

Setting up a forum for you and all of your clients has never been so simple. You can bring all of your communication into the Everfit coach and client apps.

1. Create a new Forum

To start a new Forum on the Everfit coach app, select the Forum tab and click on Create New. Here you will have the options to add a Forum name, a description, and a cover photo for the group.

Once your new Forum is created, manage your Forum with a few simple steps.

2. Add clients

To add new clients, click on the invite button and select the new clients you want to add to the group.

3. Post on the Forum 💬

To post, simply select ‘write something’ and write a post for your group to see. While creating a post, you also have the option to add your own photos and videos.


MANAGE FORUM DETAILS

Here are some different actions you can take within the Coach App to manage your Forum:

Change the name, description and cover photo

  1. Within a Forum page select the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner to open the Forum Details.

  2. To change your cover photo, select the camera icon in the bottom-right corner of the image and choose a photo from your device.

  3. To change the Forum name or description, select Edit forum and edit accordingly.

Customize Notifications

Coaches and clients can easily control notifications! In the Forum Details page, select the Settings tab. Here you have the ability to change the notifications that you will see, as well as the ability to to turn them on or off.

Add or Remove Members

On the Forum Details page, you will be able to see information about the clients in your Forum. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the number of clients in the Forum, who the Forum Owner is, and the names of each client in the Forum.

Leave the Forum

  1. Click onto the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner of the page to open the Forum Details.

  2. To leave a Forum, select the Leave forum button and confirm your choice on the pop-up screen.

Note: If you are the only coach in a Forum, leaving will also delete the Forum.

Delete the Forum

  1. To delete a Forum, select Edit forum and click the Delete forum button on this page.

Connect a Leaderboard to a Forum

If you would like your clients to also see the Leaderboard, remember to connect it to one of your community Forums and invite your clients to the Forum.

What your clients will see:

Your clients will be able to find the Forums you’ve added them to on their Today page. They have the ability to post, as well as like and comment on each post within the Forums they are a part of.


Pro Tips for client engagement:

When working with bigger groups of people, engagement is key.

Tip 1: Post frequent and interesting content that you know your clients will enjoy. Everyone can engage with posts by liking and commenting their thoughts!

Tip 2: Videos are always a good idea when trying to engage with your clients. You can add videos of recipes, motivation, workouts of the day, or whatever you think the group would like.

Tip 3: Use the Forum to add images, or links to articles and PDF files.
