How to Cancel a Scheduled Session

If your coach allows it, you can cancel your scheduled sessions directly from the Everfit app without needing to contact them first.


How Session Cancellation Works

The ability to cancel a session depends on your coach's booking settings.

Your coach may:

  • Allow clients to cancel their own sessions

  • Set a cancellation deadline (for example, 24 hours before the session starts)

  • Disable self-cancellation entirely

If self-cancellation is available, you'll see a Cancel Session option on the session details screen.

If the cancellation deadline has passed or your coach has disabled self-cancellation, the option will not appear.


How to Cancel a Session

  1. Navigate to your scheduled session.

  2. Tap the session to open the Session Details screen.

  3. Tap Cancel Session.

Your session will immediately be marked as canceled.


What Happens After You Cancel?

Your Coach Is Notified

As soon as you cancel a session, your coach is automatically notified.

Session Credits Are Returned

If a session credit was used to book the session, the credit will automatically be returned to your available balance after the cancellation is completed.

Confirmation Notifications

After successfully canceling a session, you'll receive confirmation through:

  • An in-app notification

  • A confirmation email

You can tap the notification to view the canceled session details.


Why Don't I See the "Cancel Session" Button?

The Cancel Session option only appears when all of the following conditions are met:

  • Your coach allows self-cancellation for that session type

  • The cancellation deadline has not passed

  • The session is still scheduled

If you don't see the button, it may be because:

  • Your coach has disabled self-cancellation

  • The cancellation cutoff time has passed

  • The session has already been canceled or completed

In these cases, please contact your coach directly if you need to make changes to your booking.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cancel a session at any time?

No. Your coach may set a cancellation deadline. Once that deadline has passed, the session can no longer be canceled through the app.

Will I get my session credit back?

Yes. If a session credit was used when booking the session, it will automatically be returned to your account after cancellation.

What if I need to cancel but don't see the option?

If the Cancel Session button is unavailable, please contact your coach directly. They can advise you on the next steps based on their cancellation policy.

Will I receive a confirmation after canceling?

Yes. Everfit will send both an in-app notification and an email confirming that your session has been successfully canceled.
