How to Compare Form Responses

See how your clients are progressing at a glance, no more jumping between responses!

Quickly compare your client’s responses side by side to spot progress, identify patterns, and stay on top of their journey, all without switching between multiple entries.


Accessing the Document Views

To get started, head to your client’s Documents tab. Here, you can view their response history in two different ways:

  • Group by Forms (default): Responses are grouped by form and ordered from most recent to oldest.

  • View by Responses: Displays all individual responses in a flat list.

Use the view toggle icons to instantly switch between these two layouts.


Opening the Comparison View

You can launch the comparison view in two ways:

Option 1: From “Group by Forms” view

  1. Locate a form with at least two submitted responses.

  2. Click the Compare Responses button on the right side of the form group.

  3. The comparison view will open automatically, showing the two most recent responses side by side.

Option 2: From an individual response

  1. Open any detailed response.

  2. Click the Compare Responses button at the top of the page.

  3. The system will compare the current response with the client’s latest submission.

Note: The Compare Responses button will only appear when there are at least two submitted responses for a form.


Navigating the Comparison Screen

In the comparison view, you’ll see two responses displayed side by side for easy review.

Change which responses to compare

You can update either response at any time:

  1. Click the date/time dropdown at the top of Response 1 or Response 2.

  2. Select a different submission from the list.

  3. The view will automatically refresh to show your selected responses.

This makes it easy to compare progress across any two points in time.
