Master Planner in Client’s Training Calendar

The Master Planner brings you an intuitive, all-in-one weekly, daily, and custom view of your client's training calendar. Designed to streamline workflows, it allows coaches to effortlessly update entire workout plans in one place.

With its time-saving features and enhanced program management capabilities, it’s a game-changer for delivering a seamless coaching experience.


How to enable the Master Planner view

The Master Planner provides three viewing modes:

  • Week-by-Week View: Displays workouts grouped by the same day across multiple weeks.

  • Day-by-Day View: Displays workouts for all days of a selected week.

  • Custom View: Displays only selected workouts.

Enabling Week-by-Week or Day-by-Day View

  • Open the client’s training calendar.

  • Click the Master Planner button.

  • The planner opens in Week-by-Week View by default.

  • Use the toggle to switch to Day-by-Day View.

Enabling Custom View

  • Open the client’s training calendar.

  • Select specific workouts by checking the corresponding checkboxes.

  • Click the Master Planner button (in the header or footer).

  • The Master Planner will open in Custom View.


View options

Week-by-Week View

  • Displays the same weekday across multiple weeks.

  • Select a date from the calendar picker to view that day and the same weekday across other weeks.

    • The default view starts from the current week and shows future weeks.

    • Selecting a past date will shift the view to start from that week onward.

    • Related weekdays across weeks are highlighted in the calendar when selecting for clarity.

  • Scroll horizontally to load more weeks in the Master Planner view.

  • If a day has multiple workouts, the number of workouts appears in the header.

  • Scroll vertically to view all workouts for a day.

Day-by-Day View

  • Displays all days of a single week.

  • Select a date from the calendar picker to view the week containing that date.

    • By default, it shows the current date through Sunday of the same week.

    • Selecting a past date shows the week from that day through Sunday.

    • Selecting a future date displays the entire week around that date.

  • If a day has multiple workouts, the number of workouts appears in the header.

  • Scroll vertically to view all workouts for a day.

Custom View

  • Displays only selected workouts.

  • Scroll horizontally to load more weeks in the Master Planner view

  • If a day has multiple workouts, the number of workouts appears in the header.

  • Scroll vertically to view all workouts for a day.

Key Actions

  • Add New Workout - Add a new workout to a day

  • View Workout Details - Open workout in details

  • Save Workout to Library – Save a workout for future use.

  • Hide/ Unhide Workout from Client - Control visibility of workouts on the client mobile app.

  • Copy & Paste Workouts – Copy a workout and paste it into other days (Shift key for multiple pastes).

  • Remove Workouts – Delete workouts from a selected day.


Important Notes

  • Users can freely switch between Week-by-Week and Day-by-Day Views.

  • Switching from Custom View to Week-by-Week or Day-by-Day View is permanent; users cannot revert to Custom View. To access Custom View again, users must reselect workouts and reopen the Master Planner. A confirmation pop-up will appear before switching.

  • Logged or in-progress workouts do not appear in the Master Planner. Users will be notified with a confirmation pop up if these are present.

You can see workout names, sections, and exercises within a workout in this Master Planner view.


Common Actions Across Views

Checkbox Settings

  • Show Rest Time – Checkbox to display/hide rest times for exercises.

  • Scroll Together – Enable synchronized scrolling across all days for easy comparison.

  • Hide Empty Days – Hide/show days without workouts (not available in Custom View).

Section-Level Actions

  • Customize Section – Change section format (Regular, Interval, AMRAP, Timed).

  • Duplicate Section – Duplicate a section within the same workout.

  • Save to Library – Save a section for future use.

  • Move Up/Down – Change section order within a workout.

  • Remove Section – Delete a section from the workout.

Exercise-Level Actions

  • Add Exercises – Insert exercises into a workout or section.

  • View Exercise Details – Access detailed exercise information.

  • Customize Fields – Modify the tracking fields for a specific exercise.

  • Add Alternate Exercises – Assign alternative options for the main exercise.

  • Duplicate Exercise – Copy an exercise within the workout.

  • Move Exercise to Section – Move exercises to section within a workout.

  • Remove Exercises – Delete selected exercises.

  • Edit Tracking Fields – Update exercise tracking fields in bulk.

  • Add Sets – Add additional sets to exercises.

  • Link/Unlink Supersets – Create or separate supersets.
