Effortlessly track your meals with the AI Meal Scanner! Scan food items, barcodes, and labels to log macronutrients instantly.

Meal scanner options

You have four ways to log your macros:

  • Scan Meal: Scan a single meal directly.

  • Scan Barcode: Scan the barcode on food packaging.

  • Scan Food Label: Scan the nutritional label for detailed macronutrient data.

  • Select Photo: Choose a photo from your library to scan.

Tip: For best results, scan only one dish at a time.

How to log your macros using AI meal scanner

1. On the Today screen

  • Tap the "+" button in the bottom-right corner.

  • Select “Food Log Macro” to open the Meal Scanner screen.

2. Scanning your meal

  • Scan Meal Directly: After scanning, our AI analyzes the food and provides detailed information on macronutrients, ingredients, and more.

  • Scan Barcode & Food Label:

    • Simply scan the barcode or label to get precise macronutrient information.

    • Ingredient lists are not available when scanning this way, but macronutrient data remains precise.

  • Select a photo from your library:

    • Choose either the "Scan Meal" or "Food Label" tab based on what you're scanning.

    • Tap the library icon to open your photo gallery.

    • Select the photo you want to scan and tap the “Choose” button.

The photo will be scanned based on the selected scanner option (Scanned Meal or Food Label). If you choose the wrong option, the scan will not work.

3. Editing your meal after scanning

After scanning, if the information isn't accurate, you have the option to adjust the recipe name, serving size, as well as the protein, carbs, and fat content as needed.

If scanning by meal or photo, you can also modify the quantity and unit of each ingredient by tapping the Add button, searching for the ingredient, and clicking the “Plus” icon to add it.

4. Save and log your meals

After scanning the meal, click the "Save" button to store it for future use. To remove it from saved meals, just click the icon again.

To access saved meals, tap the Saved Meals icon from the timeline or select “Saved Meals” from the Plus icon.

On the Saved Meals screen, you can view all the meals you've previously saved. To manage these meals:

  • Log a meal immediately for Today:

    • Tap the "+" button next to the desired meal to log it for today.

  • View and edit meal details before logging:

    • Tap on a saved meal to see its details.

    • Here, you can adjust serving sizes, modify ingredients, or make other edits before logging the meal again.

This feature allows you to efficiently reuse and customize your favorite meals.
