To view a client’s nutrition data, you’ll need to enable the Macros feature for that specific client and ensure they’ve granted permission for you to access their data.
Enable the Macros Feature
From the client’s Settings page, locate the Macros feature, toggle it on, and be sure to save your changes.
When the Macros feature is enabled:
You won’t need to request permission to view a client’s nutrition data if they haven’t logged any food yet.
Once they begin logging their meals, you’ll be able to view their nutrition data accordingly.
If the client has already logged food data, a permission request will be automatically sent to them. You’ll need to wait for the client to either approve or decline the request before you can access their nutrition data.
Note: You must wait 24 hours before sending another request.
What Your Clients See
Clients will receive an immediate notification when you request access to their nutrition data. They can tap the notification to open the Access Request screen, where they’ll have the option to approve or decline your request.
If the client approves your request, you’ll receive a notification confirming the approval and will be able to view their nutrition data.
If they decline, you’ll receive a notification as well, and you won’t have access to their nutrition data. You can send a new request again at any time.
Clients Actively Adjust Data Sharing Preferences
In the client app, there is a setting that allows clients to enable or disable nutrition data sharing at any time, without needing to receive a request from you. Whenever they make changes to this setting, you’ll be notified.
If a client turns off data sharing, you’ll receive a notification and will no longer be able to view their nutrition data.
At the same time, the Macros section will reflect the updated status and allow you to send a new access request if needed.
