What is MacroSnap?

MacroSnap is an AI-powered meal and food label scanner integrated into Everfit to make macros and meal logging effortless for your clients. Help your clients master nutrition consistency with MacroSnap!

See our client documentation here for more details.

Purchase your MacroSnap subscription

MacroSnap is a separate subscription from your workspace plan, so it has its own billing cycle based on when it’s purchased (monthly or yearly). Even if you are on an annual workspace plan, you can choose a monthly MacroSnap subscription to try it out.

When purchasing MacroSnap, you will select the number of licenses you need. Each license allows one client to use MacroSnap. For example, if you want 5 clients to use it, you will need to purchase 5 licenses. Licenses are billed up front at the time of purchase, rather than based on usage.

Note: The number of licenses you purchase cannot exceed the number of clients allowed in your workspace plan.

You can change or cancel your MacroSnap subscription at any time from the Billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades will be scheduled to take effect at the next renewal.

How to Give your Clients Access to MacroSnap

Once you have purchased MacroSnap licenses, you can assign and manage licenses on the MacroSnap page under Workspace Settings, or individually on the client profile on the Macros tab or Settings tab.

Assigning a license will give the client access to MacroSnap immediately and will send them an in-app alert and push notification letting them know they have the feature.

  • Licenses can only be assigned or unassigned by the Owner or Admin.

  • Licenses can only be assigned to currently connected (active) clients.

  • Trainers will see whether their client has MacroSnap on the Macros tab on the client profile, but cannot make changes to the license.

Additionally, assigning a license will turn on the Macros setting in the client profile, if it hasn’t yet been turned on.

Removing MacroSnap Client Access

To remove access to MacroSnap, unassign the license through the methods mentioned above, MacroSnap page or client profile. Unassigning a MacroSnap license will remove the client’s access immediately. The client will not be notified about the change.

You can see a history of clients who you previously assigned licenses to on the Unassigned Clients tab on the MacroSnap page. This is helpful if you ever need to quickly assign a license back or have any questions about past license assignment.

Note that when a client is archived, if they have a MacroSnap license, the license will automatically be unassigned and made available for you to use with another client.
